Meet Katja — One of Our Most Requested Therapists
Originally from Germany, Katja has been a full-time therapist with Elements since 2019 and is known for her intuitive touch and deeply restorative approach. A graduate of the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2011, Katja brings over a decade of experience and a natural gift for helping clients feel balanced, renewed, and deeply relaxed.
Her sessions combine therapeutic precision with spa-level tranquility — designed to melt tension, relieve pain, and restore harmony to body and mind. Katja takes time to truly listen to each guest, tailoring every massage to individual needs. Drawing from Swedish, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Myofascial, and Cranial Sacral techniques, she specializes in shoulder care, Reflexology, and deeply nurturing bodywork that leaves you feeling radiant and restored.
Outside the spa, Katja embraces a wellness-centered lifestyle. She loves exploring the outdoors with her family, trail running, hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, and unwinding with a good book — bringing that same sense of calm and vitality into every session she gives.

"Somatic bodywork is any type of bodywork—whether it’s massage, reiki, or craniosacral therapy—where you and your practitioner consciously work with your inner perceptions. It combines bodywork with verbal skills, and it works with a lot more than muscles...Somatic works with the whole of you: your physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts; your intuition and imagery; your spiritual insights. It can facilitate deep healing of old wounds and trauma, but it is definitively not talk therapy."
