With a lifelong passion for natural health, Ravit began her 36 year journey at the Sarasota School of Massage and was state certified in 1988. She quickly realized she wanted more and continued on with St. John Neuromuscular Therapy to be certified as an advanced Neuromuscular therapist, eventually assisting with teaching in seminar format. After selling her well-established practice in Florida, she relocated to Colorado where she attended Colorado University in Pre-Med studies in order to further her knowledge. She opened Elements of Touch with her husband Monte and 2 other therapists in 1992.
With her love for pain management and medical massage technique, she joined the medical staff at Timberline Medical and worked along side MD’s and DO’s for 8 years. Realizing that body work and exercise alone is not enough, she studied at the school of Integrative healing in Denver and became a state-certified Colorado wellness coach as well as a certified personal trainer and Pilates instructor in 2004. On-going classes in Ayurvedic healing modalities are her current passion after having studied at Rocky Mountain Yoga Ayurveda Institute and getting certified as an Ayurvedic practitioner in 2011.
She currently wellness coaches, takes private clients for advanced bodywork, teaches Pilates for core strength, and provides rehab and injury prevention, teaches twice a week at the Estes Valley Community Center in Estes Park. Ravit is an international Yoga and Pilates instructor traveling 4-8 weeks a year teaching in exclusive resorts. Ravit is also a freelance wellness writer contributing monthly to the Estes Park trail gazette wellness section and writes for a Colorado based wellness magazine called Get Well Live Well.
With her team of highly qualified, specially chosen therapists, Ravit is proud to offer treatments that have been celebrated and honored for thousands of years at the spa.
